I arrived after a great flight from Cancun in a single engine Cessna from Tropic Air. Great way to see the vast array of reefs and islands. The Belize reefs are second only to the Great Barrier Reef off Australia. The crew on this leg is otherwise all American, Don the lone Canadian. I met Steve and Maureen as well as Daniel (the youngster at 39) as we opened the Paradise Resort Hamburger Bar at the end of the resort pier. A very beautiful spot.
The dinghy seems fine as I have zipped from shore to boat 4 times already.
This morning Al was away at 6 am to take a long route by water taxi to clear immigration with all of our passports. Four hours later and he is still away.
Jill has tuned in the weather report and we are advised by the local weather guru to wait until Thursday morning to let a storm pass before venturing on. Al will decide when he returns.
Killed one mosquito last night with my tennis racquet and have not seen any more, just a few small flies on shore.

I'm in the shade in the open air restaurant on the right. Good internet connection.
